Fall Festivals

Whether it’s the taste of apples, pumpkin, cider, or fall beers that have you excited for the season, there is a festival for you.

Redwood City Oktoberfest - September 20-24, 2023. Immerse yourself in the exciting atmosphere of a classic Oktoberfest in downtown Redwood City. With contests, music, dancing, and authentically delicious German food, this event screams fall. Tickets are $17 and include a stein and 1 drink ticket. Advanced tickets are encouraged.

Oktoberfest Fest in Oakland - Saturday, September 23rd from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Temescal Brewing. Tickets range from $0 to $40 and the event includes Bratwurst, a stein-holding competition, a DJ, and Temscal Oktoberfest beer.

Castro Street Fair in San Francisco - While not necessarily fall-themed, the Castro Street Fair on October 1, 2023, will be a great time! The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is free, but they suggest a $10-$20 donation. The intersection of Market and Castro streets is where you will find gourmet food, cheer performances, live entertainment, and over 100 vendors.

Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival - The 51st annual Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival takes place October 14th and 15th. This free festival is the supreme fall event in the Bay Area featuring food, drinks, pumpkin carvers, live entertainment, costume contests, The Great Pumpkin Run, art and local craft makers, and the world’s biggest pumpkin structure.

San Francisco Fall Cider Fest at Spark Social - Spark Social in Mission Bay will have a fall flavors takeover on Saturday, November 11th from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Featuring unlimited pours of 30+ ciders and food trucks with fall favorites, this event is sure to put you in the mood for fall. While Spark Social is usually free to visit, tickets are required for this event. Tickets are $45 each and include unlimited pours of fall ciders.
